Hey!
I was REALLY encouraged by this verse today.

Ecclesiates 3:9-13 - 9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God.

verse 10- He has made all things beautiful in its time
I thank God that he's going to make all things beautiful, and we don't have to worry! I'm looking forward to seeing how He's going to make this Japan trip beautiful! Let's continue to keep this nation in prayer! For those having exams, gambatte!!!

This is a portion of the newsletter from Victor Toh, full time CCC staff at tokyo! I thought it would help us in praying for Japanese students and Todai in particular!

Prayer for the campuses: Tokyo University and Sophia University
While I'm part of the Tokyo Metro (city) team (as are all the campus staff), we also each go to a few universities. I have been assigned the campuses of Tokyo University (Todai) (specifically Komaba campusi cos it's divided into two campuses) and Sophia University.

I want to share with you some things the Lord laid on our hearts as our staff team prayed together on the Todai campus, which has been known as a 'hard ground' even for Japan. While praying some staff felt led to Isaiah 41:18-20 This was a wonderful word to remind us that He is often brought forth living water from desert springs and can do so even in this "hard" desert place.

But the key, as my Japanese leaders often encouraged us in the Word these two weeks: to keep the main thing the main thing: the most fundamental which is to minister in the Holy Spirit's power. We can be so busy with all kinds of cool and new activities, but without the Spirit's total control over each worker, we'll still end up fruitless. I received much assurance that the Lord is definitely going to answer our every prayer as we co-labour with him.hahahaha
