Hey!!
just to share with all of you how the Lord has been encouraging me in my attachment. I was super blur on the 1st 2 days of work. I had a negative feedback from pple around me. I felt really discouraged. However, as I do my QT, God is constantly telling me something. His word really comes in timely. I personally am weak in my practical work. However, God has encouraged me tt He is my strengthe and support. He has given me hope. Hope is something which we can't see and waiting for it. If we already have something, what is there to hope for. The Lord also comforted me how He sacrificed His life for all His chosen pple and how precious I am in Him. He even adopted all of us as His childeren!! I felt guilty for complaining so much. The Lord also comforted me that WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERERS IN CHRIST. God has already conquered the evil one on the cross!! Hey pls pray for my attachment. I have lots to catch up. I really hope to pass this last lap of attachment. Pls really keep this attachment in prayer as I am gg to be 'drilled' in to doing staff nurse job!! c ya tmr!!

The University of Tokyo (東京大学; Tōkyō Daigaku, abbreviated as 東大 Tōdai) is generally ranked as Japan's most prestigious university, as well as a leading university in Asia. The University has five campuses in Hongo, Komaba, Kashiwa, Shirokane and Nakano and 10 faculties with a total of around 30,000 students, some 2,100 of them foreign (a large fraction by Japanese standards). While nearly all academic disciplines are taught at the University, it is perhaps best known for its faculties of law and literature. This university has produced many top Japanese politicians though the power of the school has been gradually decreasing. For example; the ratio of its alumni in prime ministers is 2/3, 1/2, 1/4, 1/5 and 1/6 in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s respectively. The University of Tokyo is widely thought of as being one of the most prestigious schools over many areas while its rival schools are the other 6 of Seven Universities, which were Imperial Universities before World War II, especially Kyoto University. In science, Kyoto University has produced more top scientists and Nobel prize winners. One of the presidents of Tokyo Imperial University was Kikuchi Dairoku.

It is one of the Tokyo 6 Universities in baseball.

The main Hongo campus occupies the former estate of the Maeda family, Edo period feudal lords of Kaga Province. The university's best known landmark, the Akamon (Red Gate) is a relic of this era. The symbol of the university is the ginkgo leaf, from the abundant trees throughout the area.

The university was founded by the Meiji government in 1877 under its current name by amalgamating older government schools for medicine and Western learning. It was renamed to Imperial University (帝國大學 Teikoku Daigaku) in 1886 and then "Tokyo Imperial University" (東京帝國大學 Tōkyō Teikoku Daigaku) in 1887, when the imperial universityWorld War II, it assumed the original name again. With the start of the new university system in 1949, Tōdai swallowed up the old First Higher School (today's Komaba campus) and the old Tokyo Higher School, which henceforth assumed the duty of teaching first and second-year undergraduates, while the faculties on Hongo main campus took care of third and fourth-year students. system was created. In 1947, after Japan's defeat in

The University of Tokyo has since 2004 been incorporated as a national university corporation under a new law which applies to all national universities.

Despite the incorporation, which has led to increased financial independence and autonomy, The University of Tokyo is still partly controlled by the Japanese Ministry of Education (Monbukagakusho, or Monkasho).

Sanshiro Pond, in the heart of the university's Hongo campus, dates to 1615. After the fall of the Osaka Castle, the Shogun gave this pond and its surrounding garden to Maeda Toshitsune. As Maeda Tsunanori further developed the garden, it became known as one of the most beautiful gardens in Edo (now Tokyo), with the traditional eight landscapes and eight borders, but also known for its originality in its artificial pond, hills, and pavilions. It was at that time known as Ikutoku-en (Garden of Teaching Virtue). The pond's contours are in the shape of the character kokoro or shin (heart), and thus its official name is Ikutoku-en Shinjiike. However it has been commonly called Sanshiro Pond since the publication of Natsume Soseki's novel Sanshiro.

paiseh!!! some words big some words small

Hey, a song reminded me about obeying God. It was sung in church. I hope this song will encourage all of us to want to seek for His will according to His way and pass the test!! Not sure if it helps. May this be a prayer to all of u! It may be familiar to most of you, however, let it be a reminder.

To keep Your lovely face

Ever before my eyes

This is my prayer

Make it my strong desire

And in my secret heart

No other love competes

No rival throne survive

And I'll serve only You

WOW! God is really great! i'm was really encouraged today when two people in church supported me immediately upon receiving my newsletter! Hope and pray that u guys are experiencing this same sort of grace!

To Steph: I'm sure God will reward your faithfulness! Just keep praying! I'm sure the whole team is praying for both Christelle and you! EVEN if its not in God's plan for you to go, i'm sure God something better in store for you! just keep praying yea!

Hey, I'm in it now. Actually my blog is at blogspots too. Hee.....hee, my exams are just over. Boo~~~attachment starts tomorrow. i'm gg to be drilled at work. Hey keep me in prayer while I ask the person in charge of work. I start work from 8-4:30. . 1st time I've ever worked extra half and hour in sgh. yup...yup!! trust God. Hey guys thanks for prayer for me. I'm seeking God's will in His way. This is what I've learnt today in church. One day all of us will have to 'face the music' as in, we will have to face a test to see if we are really true disciples of Christ or just gg to church and sing praises and participating. I just learnt that to be obedient to God's will is not enough. We need to be obedient to God's will in His way and not our way. One way is to get to know God more, which I am learning. cos' not everyone who cried Lord, Lord will pass the test. If I carry on being a sunday christian or come for mission trip because others do, then Jesus will say "I never knew you away from me you evildoers. That's very freaky!! So right now, yes I am praying to go for the mission trip. I just need to learn to listen . So pray that I'll obey God's will in His way than to fulfill my own desire. Thanks!!!

PHEW!
Finally managed to finish writing out the notes on my newsletter! yay.. can give it out tomorrow! Thank God for helping me get this done. Hope u guys are doing well in support raising!
